Since 2018 the U.S. President has maintained a long-standing feud with the worldwide music superstar.

On Friday morning President Donald Trump declared that singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has lost her hot status.

Trump posted on Truth Social that he believes Taylor Swift lost her hot status after he declared his hatred for her. “Has anyone noticed that, since I said “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” she’s no longer “HOT?”” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

The U.S. President started his feud with the global superstar in 2018 when she backed Democrat Phil Bredesen for Tennessee Senate while opposing Republican Marsha Blackburn. During that time Trump responded to Swift’s endorsement by saying: I’m sure Taylor Swift doesn’t know anything about [Blackburn]. I like Taylor’s music about 25% less now, OK?” (AOL)

President Trump has not explained the reason behind his morning attack on Taylor Swift as he leaves the Middle East. According to the New York Times the Eras Tour generated $2 billion in ticket sales which established itself as the most profitable tour in history.

The former President used AI-generated pictures to suggest Swift supported him even though she questioned his endorsement of Joe Biden during the 2020 election. Trump used Truth Social to post “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” when Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election. The former President attacked her after the Kansas City Chiefs lost the 2025 Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles by sharing footage of her supposed booing followed by the statement “The Kansas City Chiefs had a worse night than Taylor Swift did.” She received booing from the entire stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”
