A different shooting took place at 2881 Dale Creek Drive exactly thirty minutes after the first incident occurred. The two young males aged 24 and 25 received multiple gunshot injuries during this incident. The recent rise of violent crime in Atlanta mirrors nationwide concerns about public safety and gun-related violence within urban areas. The Atlanta Police Department’s latest crime statistics show that the city faces changing patterns of violent crimes and assaults which have led to demands for system reforms and community participation.
