SAN FRANCISCO, CA (Headline News USA) (Copyright © 2025) — Kamala Harris has returned to the center of online discussions because a video showed her learning a TikTok dance which spread across social media platforms. The video shows Vice President Harris performing the “Boots on the Ground” dance with content creator Kenneth Walden at the Emerge America 20th anniversary gala located at San Francisco’s Palace Hotel on April 30.

Walden leads Harris through the dance moves before they share both laughter and a high-five. The dance performance uses “Boots on the Ground” by 803Fresh from 2024 as its musical backing which has become popular across social media networks. The video received more than 661,000 TikTok likes since its upload while users expressed both positive and negative reactions. People who support Harris praise her genuine nature and her talent to reach younger voters yet others view this moment as unbefitting a president according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Harris has previously encountered criticism because of her dancing performances in public. The public has reacted with both approval and disapproval toward her dancing moments throughout her political tenure because her public image divides people.

Harris gave a speech after dancing to address the political situation while directly attacking President Trump’s 100-day performance in office. The San Francisco Chronicle and Economic Times report that Harris has not declared political ambitions since her 2024 presidential defeat but she might pursue California governorship (San Francisco Chronicle, Economic Times).
