We cover news — local, national, sometimes international — with a strong focus on accuracy and transparency. We publish what’s relevant. If you’re reading this, you’re probably already familiar with our approach.

All original material on this site belongs to Pledged Media, LLC. That includes writing, images, graphics, and layout.

You’re welcome to quote us, but include a proper link back to the original article. If you repost our work in full or without attribution, we’ll act on it. You know the drill.

Crime Coverage and Public Records

We report on arrests and public safety news because it’s public record — and part of our beat. Much of what we publish is pulled from arrest affidavits, jail logs, press briefings, and court records.

If we’ve reported on something you were involved in and you think it should be corrected, let us know. If something was wrong, we’ll fix it. But public records are public records.

Mugshots

Sometimes we include them. Sometimes we don’t. That decision is ours.

We do not charge to remove mugshots.
We will not accept money to alter or take down public information. Don’t email asking. Don’t offer payment. It’s not happening.

Were your charges dropped or were you found not guilty? You can ask us to review your case. We’ll consider it. We don’t guarantee redaction, but we’re not unreasonable.

Florida Statute 901.43

If you’re citing this law to demand removal, read the full statute first. It doesn’t apply to us. We’re not in the business of monetizing mugshots, and we don’t remove them for money. This law was written to target mugshot pay-to-remove schemes. Not journalism.

Article Retention

We don’t delete stories unless we made a major error — and we’ll correct that if it happens. If you’re hoping a not-guilty verdict means the story vanishes, it won’t. At most, we may update or redact identifying info. That’s at our discretion.

Corrections

We’re not perfect. If we got something wrong, tell us. Send documentation. If it checks out, we’ll fix it. No drama.

DMCA Takedowns

If you think we’ve used your content without permission, please contact us.

Don’t send us a bogus claim. We know the law, and we’ll pursue damages if a fraudulent request causes us harm.

No Threats

We’ve had them all — legal threats, angry rants, anonymous nonsense. We don’t engage.

Actual threats of violence go straight to law enforcement. Legal threats with no teeth go in the trash. If you have a real concern, please contact us.

Comments

Commenting is optional and moderated. If you leave garbage, it won’t get published. Simple as that.

We don’t allow:

  • Hate speech
  • Personal attacks
  • Spam
  • Off-topic tirades
  • Anything that breaks the law

Repeat offenders get banned. Same goes for our social media pages. Trolls get the boot — no discussion.

Blocking Users

We block people from the site and social media accounts when necessary. If you’re toxic or abusive, you won’t be here long. There’s no appeals process. We’re not a court.
